Jrome "Goes In On" rap cliches
« on: April 05, 2010, 10:13:55 AM »
Just wanted to say something here.  When somebody mentions a rapper dissing another rapper by saying "so and so went in on so and so" it sounds really stupid.

I just thought I'd let you guys know so we can stop that phrase before things get out of hand.

But I did get it in! Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, that Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,...I get it in...I need a drink, give me a drink...I need a drink, shawty give me a drink...I need a drink, give me a drink...I need a drink, shawty give me a drink  Let that one be.

However, I want "AndUDoKnowThat" to be canned. It's fucking annoying unless you go around and scream it at people, then it's just fucking hilarious to watch their facial expressions.

If this were NY in 2003 yeah dun that'd be hot shit, but no. Now you just sound like professional wigger Tim Westwood. "Go in" should always be prefaced with "No Homo", as "go in" could refer to penis penetration. Best to avoid all together.

"Swag" also needs to be killed, it's extremely lame.

I recently heard a track that started with "Wake up in the moooorning, turn my swag ooonnn".
Lameness at it's finest, admitting that he needs to put on a gimmick.
