Listened to it again today after not hearing it for a while.  There were 3 joints I never stopped listening to, "Breathe", "We Make The World Go Round", and "Hero"...

But listening to the ENTIRE album again today for the first time in a while, it sounds like he was pre-occupied with this whole "Nigger" concept for the album and forgot all about actually making hott joints.  And the theme for the album was very unfocused, because he was trying to balance 60's Black Panther revolutionary rhetoric with great hope and aspirations for Barack Obama's 2008 presidential run, and it all became confusing to listen to.

The first 5 tracks on the albums are all dope, and then the album just fades into obscurity after that.

Those are my 3 least favorite songs on the album  ;D

nigga you crazy. Untitled, NIGGER, Black President, Sly Fox, Fried Chicken, etc.....take out the 2 singles and I'd consider it one of the best concept records I've heard.

wow... well, I'm a big Nas fan so I can't hate you for that... but the second half of this album is some of his weakest material he's put out, in my opinion.

Incredible album...the 2 singles were easily the 2 worst songs.

Nas talked about some real shit on here from william cooper, fuckin aliens, racism, and a ton more that went over most peeps heads.

Def some of Nas best work, I still bump this shit on the regular.

It's a dope album.  It's one of those albums I'd love to hear the complete recording sessions because the final product has clearly been tampered with by the label.  Testify is easily one of my favorite songs.  He's pretty ballsy calling out his white fan base.
Cool breeze; I'm hopping out of new Beams
My outfit ran me a few G's but none of that will matter if you leave
I used to be an Adam with two Eves and shawtys automatically do me
Excuse me, all that happened before you doesn't matter
I'm a vision of the future climbing the success ladder
Recline, in the mean time, twenty three shine, diamond bling blind as I rewind

I really liked it, and I think "Hero" is a great song too.  There are a lot of great songs on there.

Good subject matter, weak beats.
Even the subject matter that i thought was really thought provoking was only skimmed over lightly.
Seemed half assed over all.
