But B.o.B shit is unique and his lyrics are though provoking. Similar to when OutKast is doing "mainstream music." It still stays thought provoking.

I don't think BoB lyrics are any more thought provoking than Drakes.  Can you really explain how he's thought provoking?

The difference is b.o.b. is a talented musician who can sing, rap and he creates the whole soundscape, hip hop or not hes an artist and it comes through in his music.Drake is a flavour of the moment rapper whos being pushed as a product,B.O.B. it just feels natural, drake feels forced.

Drake as a rapper >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> BOB as a rapper

BOB as a singer >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Drake as a singer

I agree with Action BOB and Drake are pretty much in the same category. Although like people have said Drake sounds like the product of a marketing team than BOB. It's probably helped BOB's image that TI hasn't been involved that much cause people would see him as some mainstream pawn.

Cudi shits on both of them.

Cudi is the worst rapper of the three and the worst singer of the three.

Hell, I find it how people hate on Drake yet praise B.o.B.  Drake is more hip-hop influenced than B.o.B.

B.o.B was saying in interviews that the album will be more rock and pop, not just rap

Rap is not real, I don't care what they told you,
Fake people say fake things in their vocalbooth
- Soul Position - Mic Control

I make it hard to read me, graffiti flow - Rakim - Word On The Streets

This album is more pop than it is hip-hop.  Hell, I find it how people hate on Drake yet praise B.o.B.  Drake is more hip-hop influenced than B.o.B.  Note, I'm not saying B.o.B is worst than Drake or Drake is better just that B.o.B is a pop artist.  He shines when he does pop or rock infused songs with spoken word tendencies ala The Kids.  I enjoy those tracks more than we he's more hip-hop aligned.
B.o.B. does B.o.B. not hip-hop, pop, rock w/e.

Judging from the leaks, he is making this a pop album tho

B.o.B is B.o.B - what kind of response is that?  Drake is Drake, what's your point?

Honestly, I'm pretty damn sure if you've made it this far you've been the product of a marketing team.  Now I won't argue your judgement that Drake feels fake and B.o.B feels real.  They both feel the same to me.

Anyways, it's just something I've been noticing and thought it was funny.

Up untill the album dropped he was just doing his own thing,  no specific genre, just doing him.

BOut halfway through the album now, GOddamn that's some pop shit...
I'm sticking to his mixtapes =/

B.oB sings, did you not hear Satellite?

I just find it funny and kind of ignorant people hate on Drake for being or creating "pop" or "r&b" infused music yet praise B.o.B for his music which is essentially poppy, r&b infused music with less hip-hop.    It just looks hypocritical and stupid.
drake is also fake ass tv star unlike B.o.b who is from the streets. it is not hypocritical and stupid. grake is fake & b.o.b is real . alos b.o.b. is eminem favorite new school artist. b.o.b has real talent compared to drake . b.o..b has that outkast sound to him unlike drake with that crappy young money sound

thank god i'm not the only one who feels like that.

and oh... i'm not feeling B.o.B. fuck his lyrics...musically it's a thing i just can;t stand... it's so sweet, candyish and girly... blaaah...
and comparing BoB to Outkast is a fail... music can be mainstream without beeing corny...

what is more calling BoB a genius is even bigger fail... what's so outstanding in his style? it's the same old pop... same chords people have been buing for years....
