You cannot compare apples and oranges indeed. But in this context you can: they're both incredibly talented freshmen who are claiming their territory in the realm of hip-hop greatest...and in that context J. Cole is just arguably the greatest artist.

^totally different artists in my opinion my man.

Drake is more a poppy, catchy punchlines, chart smasher.

while j.cole is an underground up and coming lyrical monster.

The final sounds so much better but damn his vocals on the second verse were questionable.  He sounded like he was about to pass out.

My outfit ran me a few G's but none of that will matter if you leave
I used to be an Adam with two Eves and shawtys automatically do me
Excuse me, all that happened before you doesn't matter

Kinda disappointed with the studio version the whole track from the beat to his delivery sounded much bigger when he performed it live couple weeks ago. Still nice though.

I can't believe how much good hiphop music has come out in the last year and is about to come out very soon. To me there's a dramatic change in the quality of music that is being released now than let's say 3-4 years ago. Some veterans and some newcomers are offering great hiphop for our ears.

Having said that, the CDQ of this track is dope and J. Cole is probably going to drop a hot ass album.
