This album is dope, not a classic but it does have that quality you can return to it and bump it again any time later.  It won't feel dated. 

Also, I agree with y'all about Nas and his intelligence.  He be saying some mad stupid shit in interviews and then in his rhymes sometimes (dance)

as much as i think nas can spit,i think equals put to much on his intelligence if you really listen to some of his rhymes he's speaking bullshit that don't even make sense, but since it sounds good haha, at times he reminds me of the older cats at the corner store who spit that pseudo knowledge to you,it starts off well but then they say shit and you be saying to yourself this muthafucca is out of his mind hahaha, "listen my brother" haha yell
