personally id not recommend any marley other than bob. maybe try ANYTHING involving lee perry in the 70s for a start. non-dancehall reggae is a complete joke nowadays

You're right, nothing beats the old school roots reggae, not just Bob Marley, but other old school artists as well. DUB is the shit too!

^ I know I'm an example of what u mean, but it's definitely not because of his sur-name. There are a few Marley sibling singers and Damian is the ONLY one I actually listen too.

you should check out Stephen Marley's last album
Mind Control Shits on Welcome to Jamrock (even tho i luved that too)
I also prefer a bit of Ky-Mani Marley

This is whack....  Some of the songs are way too long.  I thought one song was the last on the album cuz it was so long and I still had like 4 joints to go after it.

Knaan was the standout on all the tracks he was on.

Album did start out strong, about just after the half way mark I felt like fast forwarding tracks.

Some god-aweful hooks on here, even for Reggae.

Lil Wayne feature was funny, I tryed to find a reason but I couldn't hate on him, held it down on a type of beat I've never seen him do before...

Nas lyrics were dope, flow was str8, should release the pellas and have fans make their own remix projects...

Beats were average, nothing pushing the limits of a true Hip-Hop/Reggae fusion though..

Felt like Damian was just adding background vocals for Nas, didn't really stand out to me.. (Note: I don't listen to Reggae)

I do like the concept and ideas on this album, just weren't able to pull it off imo, to make it above standards.

I won't be listening to this after a week.

The only bad thing i could find was that garbage voice and pointless feature if wayne.......

What the fuck were they thinking putting him on there!!!!! trying to open the minds of those who thinks he relevant to anything suppose!!

Other than that this is so pure and on point! If you don't know you will never know!!

Nothing wrong with that Wayne verse, stop hating just because it's him.

I'm gonna have to edit Lil Wayne out of this album, just because it's him.. can't stand that annoying voice.

This certainly isn't wack like Leak said, but I do agree that some of the tracks are too long, and that Marley can become too much after 3-4 minutes.
The tracks should be 3-3.5 minutes, not 4.30-5 and even four tracks around 6 minutes.. sounds like they just told Marley to "sing-jam something random for the last couple of minutes".

But all in all, this album was a refreshing surprise, I didn't expect it to be this dope when I first heard talk about a Nas/Marley collabo.
