10 Year Anniversary - Marshall Mathers LP thread
« on: May 23, 2010, 03:21:58 PM »
Can't believe its been a whole decade since MMLP dropped. I remember how crazy that album sounded the first spin around.. "Who Knew" is still my favorite joint off that album, really damn near all the material on MMLP is dope, maybe a couple of tracks throw it off but it's still a classic  8)

To each their own, but to me, this is the only certified 5 star banger from Em - Dre was in the "zone" @ that point in his career, Em had something on that album i haven't heard since, but w/e, and one of the rare "just press play" records where you don't skip anything - everything just flows perfectly

Best Eminem album. I remember Dre was saying this was the closest thing to a 'perfect album' that hes produced.

MMLP used to be my fav eminem album, but ive grown to like The slim shady lp more for some reason. Role Model and brain damage are probably my two favourite em tracks of all time. Although Marshall mathers off the mmlp is def in the top 5 :D

I can still bump from start to finish. Easily my favorite Eminem album. Obviously on this forum, there's a lot of cats who will disagree but to me, this album is probably the greatest release, artistically, from a Dr. Dre protege.

For real, this album is filled with classics. "The Way I Am" is still my favourite Em track to date, album is a 5 star certified banger!

Ten years already, damn I'm old.  I remember getting this in my senior year of high school.
A great album.
