giving credit where it's due

Andrew Bynum was great tonight.

That has to be the worst officiated game I've seen since Lakers/Kings 2002.

This was a shit reffed game for BOTH teams...too many key players were in foul trouble

Rondo was the shit today...how does such a little guy get so many boards against a team so huge?

Laker fans will blame the refs, but its not like the celtics didn't get tons of fouls too.

Lakers lost cuz tthey can't stop rondo...and Boston played great d in the 4th

gonna be a long series :)

I can understand a lot of calls. BUT when you have a play replayed to get the call right, and you still get it wrong, that's suspect. I'm the first to say, the refs are not always right and it usually balances, check my past post. BUT this game is by far some bullshit.

The refs have nothing to do with us losing , we easily got the benefit of the calls until the 4th

I'd say that about 5 fouls called on Boston were not fouls ...

Celtics had two blocks nullified by bad calls.

Against the Kings in 2002 Kobe could elbow someone and get to the line with 12 seconds left to play.

Oops, that actually happened.

The KG call though was a momentum killer. It made it seem like it was 8 vs. 5, not 5 vs. 5. It's as much as mentality that eventually effects play.

I'm just saying it's a major exaggeration.

Finals 2006 were way worse than this, for example.

LA had 15 more FTs despite of repeatedly fouling Boston at the end of the game to stop the clock.

Boston's bigs were in such crazy foul trouble in the beginning of the game that Shelden Williams had to play.

List of people who really, REALLY have to step their game up to live up to their hype: Phil Jackson, Kevin Garnett, Kobe Bryant, Paul Pierce, Lamar Odom, Ron Artest

Lets put it this way. When a team feels it's fighting the refs and another team, morale goes down and the teams effort goes down. So what was a close game, then becomes a blow out, especially with all the fouling at the end.
