^ ya like everything seemed so complicated.

colouring these gay ass dots and what not.

I used Mixcraft to make my beats, it was much easier and visually appealing. But obviously you cant do the high tech shit im sure on that program that you can do on FL

yeah I still have it but I don't use it that much. I have had epic ideas for beats in my head but when I try to create them in FL Studio it just isn't the same. I can get the basic melody down, but I can't get it to sound the way I want it. Like if I had my own band I could tell them what I want them to play but using bells and whistles doesn't achieve the same effect.

^ my thoughts exactly. I always have great ideas for beats that would sound epic from new school to oldschool but i cant put them on paper so to speak.

garageband is pretty easy to use as well and they have alot of sick instrumental melodies to use. I mgiht jack my moms mac just to get back into the beatmaking game.

On mixcraft i would use the melodies they had and cut out parts i would like and loop them and add drums and whatnot. Some of the beats came out alright for my rookie status.

the stock sounds they come with are ass.

fl studio is actuallly great software if you know how to use it, it just gets a bad name from folks who dont know what they talkin bout.
