"grow up" was boring and so is "flashy".  the beats just weren't hittin' and both of em were pretty average songs.  Aftermath can do alot better than these two.  i never understood how people were actually feeling "grow up" anyways, yeah i get the message but it was a gay track.

wtf was dr dre and interscope smokeing?dope.why the fuck they didnt put this nigga album out.imagine if they would of put out that single up and down and promoteing that and then put this song out as the follow up single.man bishop would of blew up large.
not sure about making it big, but i find it strange that Dre didn't like Grow Up, yet he comes with Under Pressure

Isn't it obvious? One's a club track and one isn't, Dre's looking for that lead single from a new artist to be a smash, either he didn't see that in Grow Up or Jimmy was in his ear.
hit potential is one thing, but according to Bishop, Dre didn't even like the song.

Action!

Grow Up is dope.  I might understand Dre not liking it.  The sample of William Bell's I Can Be Your Lover piano notes has been done quite a bit now.  It's on Imagine as well and another track off The Confessional, The Name.

Flashy is a decent track.  It's not mind blowing.  It isn't bad, just kind of there.  His flow is on point and I like the sarcastic delivery.

Grow Up was dope... and it could've been a really hot single if Interscope didn't pull it.

That song he did with John Mayer could of been a bit radio hit too
