To be honest it's quite sickening that a (once) respected publication is trying to feed this crap to the hip hop community. Are they trying to start some kind of race war? Eminem has done great things for hip hop and he's one of only a few artists out right now who seems to be furthering the genre rather than letting it go stagnant (puff, nelly, even jigga).

The mark who wrote this probably had Ray's gun pointed at his head while writing. I know it's bullshit and should be ignored, but c'mon, this is pretty serious shit to be saying.

By the way, I wonder if they're so concerned about all the white people who buy their bullshit magazine? Or is that okay? Wouldn't want the devil to find out about the holy culture would we?

I agree 100%.  I'm cancelling my subscription.  The Source sucks now anyway.  It's more of a soft porn magazine than a hip-hop magazine.

And don't forget though that XXL has been calling Eminem a culture stealer from the beggining as well.  Even though they have-heartedly apologized and said they were wrong.

I have always defended The Source and it pisses me off when people bashed on their rating system cause the rating system on other mags are worse, that's the truth.  But they have finally lost all thier credibility.

How the hell can they say that Benzino stays away from what's in the mag, and doesn't effect what's published when C.L.E. get 4.5 mics (which is bullshit) and Eminem/Shady Records isn't even in the power 30 (more bullshit), and they will see how powerful he is when they see thier sales in the next couple of months, watch.

Sure, I will admit perhaps being white helped Eminem get a little more attention because he was a white man in a mostly Latino or African-American world. But it wasnt just cause of that, there were other white rappers who never got as much attention or even were laughed like Vanilla Ice & Milkbone. It was because Eminem had the skills, he also had a person like Dre who can bring out the best in alot of artists, & also Eminem is charismatic, controversial & good looking.

Also this bullshit about whites STEALING FROM BLACKS. Blacks speak the English language, which was created by white man, Does that mean they cant speak english now. No, so why should it be different for music
