i think cass is one of the illest cats to come out in recent times. i'd easily take him over a lot of the people who get props these days. but while he's sick with it, hasn't had the right type of production behind him to make a really solid album.

Fab can make better songs for sure, but you know, I seen some killer punchlines leave Fab's mouth, even if he talking about bling and shit, he still find the sickest metaphors and wordplay..

I used to rate Cass and Fab about the same, but I dunno know.  Fab has been so consistent even from the Desert Storm days.  Cass has sorta fallen off for me in terms of music, he ain't even release freestyles like he used to..  All these rappers releasing they own versions of the latest hit singles... If Cass dropped his versions on time (if he even bother to record one at all), he would have a way bigger buzz than he does right now.

I think Cass kinda lets himself fall out of the limelight, he don't drop steady mixtapes, songs, or features..  It really makes me anticipate his indie album coming out [Via Carmelo Anthony's label], I wanna see if he can stand on his own two feet without the major label.

Gucci is over-rated. Like Kimbo Slice was. Besides, there's no evidence to support he has major fighting ability the likes of a Swoop G or anyone like that

Cassidy isn't a bad emcee. Some of you are being a bit too harsh on him. Cassidy's issue is his rhyme skills from the battle arena and his freestyle ability never translated to a great musical product.

I put him in the same box as Jin, in that both can rhyme their arses off but neither had the creativity and musical ability in them to release good music. Thats not necessarily a bad thing though, Breez Evahflowin is one of the greatest freestylers of all time and he couldnt drop a good record either. Its just the way some rappers are.

Fab metaphors are much better than cassidy and others...which might b part of the thing wit fab not writin his own rhymes...cassidy dont sound good on the dopest beat
