Kobe won't do shit next year but hop around like a cripple and score another 13 points per game for the few games he's healthy

Wade and Bosh  8-22 so far

:eh:

meanwhile Tim Duncan is getting fitted for a 5th ring.  he deserves it....the best player post jordan for sure (well, until Lebron)  although i think KG in his prime was better than Duncan it's obvious that T.D. has the longevity and resume to be considered better overall than both KG and Dirk.

5 rings, 3 NBA finals MVPs and 2 MVP awards.  Nobody else since MJ has this type of resume.

sound like you taking a shot at kobe

do i have to remind you 5 rings, 2 finals mvp and 1 mvp. if tim duncan can still win at this age, why not kobe? i bet anything that this will motivate the fuck outta kobe and he'll be firing on all cylinders next season

its the front office. right now i don't have any confidence in them.

Mike Brown Hire? than D'Antoni? over the likes of Phil, Adelman, Shaw?  than offering kobe a 2 year 48 million dollar contract? letting howard walk? lakers don't have the clout to convince players to sign with us for cheap anymore.

I've said this from day one its going to hurt us and it did. kobe for damn sure can compete, and the spurs are a prime example.

jimmy buss's ego trip really hurt this franchise. the man is a bum

Good chance Kobe passes Kareem, but LeBron passes Kobe, unless he gets injured.

LeBron's style of play does not age well, that's the thing about him. He plays the game like a 22 year old rookie. The question in the next 2-4 years will be, can he adjust. At his pace, he will pass Kobe eventually and he should be #2 in overall points. But with his game, and potential for injury playing his style, that is the question. He could be like Vince Carter in that they were very physical, and that led to many injuries for Carter in his later career. Kobe is 100 points aways from Kareem, which he should pass if the Lakers make the playoffs. We shall see.

No joke I can see Lebron retire around 35-36 while Kobe could play til he 40+

Lebron is dependent on physical attributes, Kobe is all footwork, fundamentals, and shooters stay shooters. There won't be a huge gap between their retirements.

If Kobe is willing to adjust his game, and I said this before, he could do exactly what Ray Allen is doing. Kobe is an amazing shooter. I'm not sold LeBron could do that.
