basicaly, dre works solely with Aftermath & shady-artists and/or new up-and-coming artists. he might slide a beat or two, or mix a record, for some of these other rappers.. but he doesn't "work" wit them like that..

everybody is contributing shit to his Detox-album, but none of these rappers are gettin production for their own shit, from the good ol doctor.. lol
look at Snoop's latest albums? haha

This is just another case of Dre starting something and then not finishing it.  It really seems like the only artist Dre is willing to work with is Eminem.  How many more stories do we have to hear about Dre not finishing something.  If he doesn't want to work he should just retire already and stop bullshitting

The only ego getting in the way is Dre's. Its pretty much been shown that this is all his choice. Helter Skelter, the Dre/Snoop album, N.W.A reunion, etc. were all cancelled cause "Dre didn't want to do it anymore." Fucking shame.

This is why the west needs more and more producers working on projects.

Id say it was more the other way, snoop needs dre more than dre needs snoop.

Dre wants to make money. Eminem makes him more money than anybody else can. End of story.

Plus don't you listen to Eminem's lyrics? He gives Dre props all the time. Eminem has a huge ego, but he always puts himself second to Dre. If Dre works with Snoop & Cube, he has to deal with them acting like they on the same level or above Dre.

I'm not saying that's why, but that could definitely be a factor.

& above all, what the fuck do we want to hear spin-offs of old songs? Let's hear some new shit; POWER TO DRE. 8)

Snoop always gives Dre his just due. The only difference is Eminem has never had a down time with Dre as far as him not contributing to his albums due to him trying to chase him down like others have.
