The raps are fucking awsome but y'all can't be serious when you say you like the beat. It sounds very choppy and he could've done way better especially for a 8 minute track. Shit I waited like 2 minutes for the real beginning of the main beat until I noticed that the beat won't change and stay being staccato and minimalistic. But if he can bring this type of flow on "The Book Of David" then we most probably get a dope album at the end of the year.

I'm a huge Quik fan but this isn't that great, just average... the beat is so simple, it's funny how he used to say: "When you hear a West Coast song with a hard piano, the best thing you can do is skip it" (Quik wit no DJ, 2007), and now he keeps on doing it.

The beat at the end, that's another story... dope!

G shit sounds pretty dope, the drums are a little too simple though especially for Quik; drums aside the song sounds good. The beat at the end sounds like it could be a banger, it sounds like it might not be finished though. If this song and the beat at the end are any indication of what to expect from the Book of David then I can't wait.
