Do you guys remember Bookie-Loc? He helms from AZ and he had album entirely produce by Battlecat in 1999. Well, he tried to get Snoop on there but he wanted 20k.. So it would surprse me if he is still charging in the high range for features after all of this years.

I can't see Too Short charging 15k a verse, he does that many features every year i doubt he would be asking for that much.

Again, that's probably the price they charge to drop a verse for some no-name artist they don't know, which isn't surprising at all. There's a different mentality out here in the bay when its among rappers who regularly associate with one another. I've heard of arrangements where they do the verse for free and just trade a feature for a feature.

To the thread-starter, have you tried getting in touch with that Noah Jones cat that posts here from time to time? He seems like he might be a good feature if you're looking for someone West Coast and he seems like he would be the kind of dude fuck with an up and coming artist. He worked with Knoc, Crooked I, and a couple other folks already.
