I've been bumping this song a lot lately and it got me thinking that they had some dope music back in the early '00s, so yeah, any joint of theirs (doesn't matter if it's big tymers, hot boyz or the whole CM clique), similar to the one posted would be appreciated

This is a typical CMR song from their Hot Boyz/Big Tymers era.

If you like this song I recommend you to check out the following albums:

Big Tymers - How You Luv That? (Vol. 1)
Big Tymers - How You Luv That? (Vol. 2)
Juvenile - 400 Degreez
B.G. - It's All On U (Vol. 2)
B.G. - Chopper City In The Ghetto
Hot Boys - Guerrilla Warfare
Lil Wayne - Tha Block Is Hot
Juvenile - Tha G-Code
Big Tymers - I Got That Work
Cash Money Millionaires - Baller Blockin'
B.G. - Checkmate
Lil Wayne - Lights Out
Turk - Young & Thuggin'
Juvenile - Project English

I'm sure there are a lot of songs on there you like.

Surprisingly, and in retrospect, Mannie was quite musical behind those boards, great point

when you listen to songs from albums like BGs its all on you volume 2 and bigtymers How u love that its like he was taking a que from dj quiks blueprint.

the basslines and sounds he was getting from his bassist Funky fangazz and his keyboardest barewolf are very similar to the type of synergy that quik had with g one and rob bacon, but manny had some tricks he was using on the drum machine at that time that were sick and unheard of...now those tricks are run of the mill in southern rap and no one seems to give manny his proper credit. but supposedly the reason that his musicians left is because not recieving proper credit and compensation.

niggas never heard tripled up oscillating 808 bass hits like that until manny did it or syncopated triple timed high hats...those were all trade marks of the cash money sound and now its the standard fare.

manny fresh invented the southern rap sound by taking pieces form miamis bass music,r and b and traditional southern 808 bounce music and making into a cohesive sound.

other songs to check out...

big tymers- big ballin (epic sounding song)
big tymers- beautiful (timeless production)
big tymers- cutlass monte carlos and regals (beautiful music)
big tymers- stuntin (how ya love that vol 1 version is way tighter and musical)
big tymers- drivin em (only available on HYLT vol 1 eerie ass beat)
