The wicked shit
« on: November 09, 2010, 08:36:49 PM »
first off, before I say anything, my first real train of thought on here has to be number 1 somebody is using my name on this website without my permission and is an imposter str8 up. I post at the death row forum, used to have my own d r site that was big in the 90's and early 2000's.

Okay, with that out of the way, I think this genre in music, more importantly hip hop, is more revolutionary, more risk taking, more cutting-edge, than any hip hop sound thats new and being made today. If you want to say Geto Boys maybe invented a sub genre with 1 song, or ICP or Esham or somebody from detroit made this sub genre, fact is its here and its huge. Dont like it? Try other cats out. Necro has some of the best beats in the biz today I think, his flow is kinda spotty and the topic of songs are very fucking weird, kung fu vampire has ill flow. I dont like his/their first album, but this is the first hip hop band ive ever seen assembled that didnt sound wack, and they actually stay together and keep making music not a 1 time gig. Thats right, a hip hop band. If ever a live show was to be seen thats fresh, thats new to the scene, kung fu vamp since the album Dead Sexy has been makin it. Check his song with Spice 1. Lastly King Gordy. I have met this guy personally. We talked, we smoked, got autograph, cool dude. He makes alot of stuff with Bizarre, who he's way better than by the way, but anyway has his own look and take on horror rap or horrocore or whatever.

the wicked shit is the best thing goin today I think. Just me tho. I grew up listenin to ruthless, then death row, now im a fan of say Hatchet House "dayton family, axe murder boyz" or Psychopathic "twiztid, icp". Listen to Twiztid's new cd homicidal and heartbroken. Fresh. Listen to the song by Twiztid "When I go To Hell" that song is deep. Peep them lyrics. In an age where digital downloads are replacing cd's, or album sales in general are fading, this is a genre that still refuses for the most part to go that way and still pays cash for cd's. Point: ICP's last album was number 4 on the billboard charts its first week. This is without any radio play for the most part, and NO video play whatsoever. Thats epic. No majior label deal. They pushin themself, thats why I like it so much. Its like what Eazy did, or Suge did, or anybody thats been in the game and made a name.

This guy aint no crip, and I'm 100% sure on that because he doesn't type like a crip, I know crips, and that fool is not a crip.

love the picture carlton, but seriously do you think that house of krazies is even ON the same level as Twiztid? I dont. Their 2 best mc's, taken out of the group. The 2 worst mc's, kicked to the curb for lack of love of the game, lack of wanting to make it, lack of something. The rest of the list, sure. The 4 man team that made the house? Hell no. The tactics in which they pretty much studied ICP and Esham and then shot back at both of them, takin down posters/flyers and inserting their name. Sure, people might know about it, but musically does it compare? I dont think so at all. Jamie "mr. bones" and whatever monoxide was called, jamie & paul are best without their former friends/collegues.

I remember way back when, I think its the source cover with master P wearin 504 boyz gear like it was goin outta style on cover, and suge had one of his interviews in the mag, they had a section on the wicked shit. Q Strange, half breed, all them was in it. Even goin so far as including ice t and his band body count in this section. I hate body count, but hey they made music history.

ive seen blaze/met blaze, ive seen twiztid/meet twiztid, same with esham, same with gordy, same with that fuckin big fat bitch misty "pink hair porno star" off ICP's first movie big money hustlers. They was all cool, and I didnt lose any respect. Ive met other artists, cant say the same about them.

Imma make my list in no perticular order:

ICP
Esham
Dark Lotus
Twiztid
Natas
Necro
King Gordy
Bizarre
Prozak
Brotha Lynch Hung
Blaze
Project Born
Axe Murder Boyz
Dj Clay
A.B.K.
Dayton Family
Mars, not marz
psychopathic rydas
Boondox
Tech N9ne

are you familiar with the HOK?

the ROC was much doper than Monoxide Child was

Mono got better don't get me wrong...but horrorcore wouldve been 100x stronger if they didnt split  (imagine a collabo by Halfbreed and Twiztid)

Kung Fu Vamp - Dead Sexy is a tight ass album. His song with spice 1 and others are good, but like I said thats just my list, just me.

King Gordy, king of horrorcore 2, Van Dyke & Harper Music, The Entity, all good albums

Necro - great beats, but like I said his flow is spotty at best and his material he talks about just sometimes is too much

YES I know R.O.C. was in the group, but he is with Blaze and Psychopathic now, even painting his face now. In fact he is a group with Blaze called Zodiac Imprint. They have a few song released.

Bizarre by himself usually isnt very good, but him, with some d 12 members or especially him and king gordy together "the davidians" they sound dope. Gordy is the better of the 2 tho.

Mars has some tight songs, but maybe nowhere near like the other arrtists on the list i'll give yout hat. I like more Marz songs "dark lotus original" and Fuck Dem ft. ICP But since he was basically a fake ass juggalo wantin to tick blood off ICP and all that to make money then fuck him. I hope mars "hannibal lector mask and all" continues to get better.

Project Born isnt the strongest group, but they are better than say gravediggaz. I liked their music when they was on psychpathic a lil better but shit I talked to them personally and played an arcade with them at the first gathering of the juggalos in novi. mich. It was the shit, maybe thats why I list them up there. Fuck with me ft. ICP is a good song.

who else would u consider wack? There are more artists that should be on the list, but it was just spur of the moment type thing. I miss Proof. He was gonna be exceptional I think, at least to this genre. Swity is starting to come along. I know ABK has alot of garbage tracks but he has alot of heaters too. Gang Related, Foo Dang, Sticky situation or whatever it is with esham an twiztid, and a few others but im not here to back him up. What others do you think are wack?
