MC Hammer movie
« on: December 20, 2001, 10:13:26 AM »
Movie was lame but Ahmed Johnson from the WWF played the role of Suge Knight..haha-that was crazy.  Anyways-I wasnt too familiar with the Hammer/Death Row alliance-and I didnt feel the movie did a good job of explaining it all.  Does anyone know the WHOLE story? if so PLEASE post it.

Damn yall-I saw 4 responses and I thought maybe somebody responded to my question.  Again-can somebody give me and the rest of the readers and indepth analysis of the Hammer/Death Row situation.

And Ahmed who played the role of Suge looked fucking huge.  He appeared to be more solid than he was in WCW and less flabby..just fucking huge though.

it's true that mc hammer used to be a batboy for the A's.....He also was a D-boy...his brother didn't loan him the money to start his music...He didn't pay his dancers enough money..thats why they left him...he got too big-headed...then he went to death row because nobody wanted to sign him and he needed the money...thats when he came out with "funky headhunter"....no he wasn't with tupac they night of the fight...he was in fremont with his wife and kid...yes he went bankrupt because he was buying shit that he couldn't afford and it all caught up to him. Now he's trying to make a comeback...thats all I can remember...;)

Hammer never made any recordings with Death Row that Im aware of--so was he ever signed?  Also-if he was signed, how did he get away from the Death Row deal so easily.  Also-was Pac really at the Pumps and a Bump video set and what label was that album on if he was supposedly signed to Death Row..?

i dont think funky headhunter was released on death row,  but at one time hammer was officially signed to death row,  check death row's greatest hits booklet

it was released under death row......hammer didn't get any money from the album....I'm not sure if he's still under death row or not....Pac wasn't at the "pumps and a bump" video shoot.....Hammer's a liar
