But just a bit short when it comes to classic. Stay A While and to many skits stop it from being a classic for me.

For me, its a good album, some classic songs but I wouldn't call the album classic. I would recommend it to someone who hasn't heard it (and was into 90s shit)

Some of my favorite tracks are 18th Letter, Its Been a Long Time, Guess Who's Back, When Im Flowin

I can co-sign this

Rap is not real, I don't care what they told you,
Fake people say fake things in their vocalbooth
- Soul Position - Mic Control

I make it hard to read me, graffiti flow - Rakim - Word On The Streets

I bought it when it came out, it was the double disc version with the greatest hits on disc 2.  I found myself listening to the old stuff more often.  I never really got into it that much.  Just wasn't my thing.  I remember when Master P's "Ghetto D" song was out, I impressed all my friends by showing them "Eric B is president".

Since we're on the subject of Rakim solo's, 7th seal is almost the most slept on hip-hop album ever.

That was the most disappointing album of the year
