Street Scholars will feature "U Better Recognize", "Lady Heroine", "Goin’ Hollywood", "Drug Related", as well as 10 brand-new tracks that Sam Sneed has recorded for the project.

Of all (possible) WA releases I was most excited about the Sam Sneed album, but this is going to have 14 tracks I'm not particularly interested in. ::)

Even if this would be available for purchase outside of the US I wouldn't buy this.

They know that everybody who's slightly interested in paying money for their releases only care about the DR music and they still say this kind of stuff in a press release. Retards.

not that it matters for the music, but i'm sure they could have made a more suitable cover for sam sneed?

cover sucks

still better than Crooked I - Hoodstar cover... this shit still makes me laugh especially Crooked's photoshoped silky face.
that cover was real amateurish shit. this one ain't that bad. it's simple but it does have some taste...

I liked that comics type cover, so i Don't think this is better, this is worse.

i wonder if a composite cover for the Original 'Street Scholars' release was ever devised, presenting that would stay true to the OG if that's really what the NEW Death-Row is trying to stick too.
I've been waiting for this since WideAwake bought the catalog, dogg!  can't wait! 8)

10 NEW track from Sneed isn't all that bad, but we still want that OG D-R shit!!

man what a disappointment.  10 new tracks, and 2 of the old tracks we already have.  bummer.

Man, my anticipation for this album has now severely dropped.  Not so much because they're including new tracks, but because they're not including many old ones.  Those were the tracks that everyone has been waiting for years to hear.  Honestly, I don't know why they keep putting out these tepid releases.  The same thing that happened with the Danny Boy and Crooked I cds will inevitably happen here too. It will sell  a few hundred copies, at the very best.  It's a shame.  They need to find someone at that company that knows what they're doing.

The cover sucks, but then again this is the same company that released Down & Dirty.

Only 4 old DR tracks (which are likely to be in the same quality as they are floating on the web) :P, those 10 new songs better all be on some "I Smell Pussy" or "Anything" type shit.

Oh shit. Only 2 brandnew "old" cuts? Thats so disappointing. Hopefully the album is not only worth a DL.  :-\
