I can't believe what my mum got for xmas yesterday. She got the fucking Ashanti album from my dad. Here was I, spending loads of time working on my brother to sway him away from buying any of that Murda Inc shit, not that it seemed to take much persuasion, thinking that my parents would have better taste than to buy any of it. My mum has played it a few times and likes it, but when I heard that album I couldn't believe how wack it is. All of the vocal harmonies sound the same as on Happy, and the whole album just has a very samey feel to it. Thankfully my dad seems to have realised that it isn't very good and has spent more time listening to the Glenn Lewis album that I bought him for xmas. Let's just hope my mum sees the error of her ways sooner rather than later.
