also i listened to the drake album which was the shittiest shit ever

His list looks like he's just getting the new albums from artists he grew up with.

me? i grew up with biggie, pac, diddy, nas, jay z, cash money, etc.

thats pretty much all i do buy albums from cuz its the closest i can get to what i used to hear. shit aint like it was back in the day but yeah they the arists i grew up on .
these new artists i cant get into any of them . tha last "new" artsits i liked was Game. i still like him but now he been around for 5-6 years. nobody else new since then i can get into that ive heard.
like drake. that shit is BAD@! just BAD TERRIBLE SHIT. but the young people like it. why i dont know . i cant see anything giood about it. lil wayne is terrible. he was better when he was 16 year old hotboy and i wasnt a cash money fan or wayne back then. the new lil wayne is even weaker. . whatever im rambling on and on. so fuck it. its my lst u guys got your lists. its cool.

I have a feeling those are the only albums you've listened to.

yeah those and maybe a 5 more. im not gonna review or rate something i havent heard
Step out of your comfort zone a bit, most of these albums aren't even worth a listen.

thats your opinion. my opinion is most new releases period arent worth a listen. rap music is becoming pop music and most of it sucks. i stick to the artists that were good back in the day. they aint what they used to be. but id rather listen to 40 year old rappers then most of these young new cats that using auto tune and techno beats. shit just dont work for me. im too old school.

if just limited urself to mainstream rap (what u did) im not surprised ur list looks very average and half of those albums are very easy to forget after 1 listening.

^They were mainstream at one point.
Mainstream in the sense of most mainstream rapper, not mainstream music.

By Underground people are referring to albums like Gas Mask, Marcberg & Season of the Assassin.

and ur list is has nothing to do with underground sorry to disappoint you they might be (part of them) independent but they are not undeground by any means. looks like you only lisrten to albums about people was talkin here on forum   since you dont know any of those artists mention above and what the point of makin list of albums which u only listen this year? so u should change topic to - 20 albums which i listen in 2010 would be more suitable  ;D ;D

I listed albums not artists.

But this is basically a top 20 you made without listening to any notable 2010 albums.

You should.

I spend pretty much all my money on cd's but I still can't get over 20% of my music collection on actual CD.

You should be downloading. Especially considering most of the albums you bought are average/mediocre. Why are you spending money on weak ass albums when you don't have to?

The fact that you're not rich is an even better reason to not waste your money. Don't you think it makes more sense to listen to the music first and then spend your hard-earned money on the artists who actually put effort into making good albums?
