it really is a strong album had this been released in 95-96 it could have done good numbers and possibly changed dj quiks disposition in the game.

i wish the mixing were better...

the mixing was really poor, wide awake style...

the album is very good, i'm feeling especially "steppin'", "break u off", and "between u and me".

the credits are fucked up though, "between me and you" sounds nothing like Roger on the talkbox and Quik on the beat, i'm pretty sure both the production and talkbox are handled by DeVanté Swing. and Just Ride features Roger on the talkbox, yet he's not credited.

DeVanté did wonders with Danny Boy, I really wish they had included "Slip N Slide", that shit is pure eargasm, Danny Boy, Ginuwine on the hook and DeVanté behind the boards. the remix with DPG was tight too.
