First spin: great song.

Third spin: old song.

My conclusion: Don't listen to this anymore till you have the hard copy of "Watch The Throne" in your changer.

I'm hyped for it. But I don't know about best album.

Their production & focus is going to be the deciding factor. Like this song doesn't really have focus, they are just rapping about whatever. Fifteen songs like this would still be good to bump, but it would lack replay value after a couple of spins.

I can't listen to entire Jay-Z albums, so when he put out those albums with R. Kelly I actually purchased his music. Back then I really liked BOBW, but UB not so much.

This album be something in between hit or miss. Jay-Z is a boring rapper (although he has some great songs), so about half of each song will be boring. It's up to Kanye West to save the other half with his rapping and it's up to the producer(s) to make it sound decent.

^Yeah, basically agree with that.

Although Jay did come pretty good on this. Kanye was the "bleh" to me here.

Lex Luger: “In 2011, I don’t want to speak too much on it but Jay-Z and Kanye West working on an album and he’s really messing with me, so I got Kanye West. I’ve been working more with Fabolous. I’ve been working with everybody, a lot of people been saying that ‘Lex Luger only got that Waka sound’ so I’m trying to take it somewhere else because I do have another sound, and that’s where I want to take it for 2011.”

still the same boring beat I have heard in 10 other songs

not bad but it's not touching That's My Bitch or The Joy (and I'm having doubts the latter is going to end up on the album)

I've only heard a couple of his Ross produced music and this joint is not really different.

And I'm not a massive Madlib fan, but give me the joints Kanye promised he and Jay did with him for the album

what the fuck? this is so awkwardly overproduced, those corny drums and the dramatic opera shit together, too all over the place and wack.

I like it. I actually find the beat, especially the last part, quite epic.
