Ross has been killing it lately. He's not just a average rapper with dope beats anymore. He killed Devil In A New Dress or that new Transporter joint. Rae & Ross already dropped a dope joint on Teflon Don, I bet he's gonna have a great verse on this one too. Who cares if  he's a gimmick or if Diddy is taking all his money. It's all about the music. I'd take him over Banks's boring ass any day.

He's not the kind of artist I want on a Wu record. I mean, GZA doesn't even feature on the album.

let be real though, liquid swords is over 15 years old, and gza hasnt done anything hot since then. some of his other albums are OK but cmon... i hate to say it but dude is washed up

You telling me you would rather listen to a Rick Ross verse than a GZA verse? Grandmasters was dope as was Pro Tools. Just keep listening to Teflon Don telling yourself it's great music.

honestly? yeah i would because ross is dropping hot verses right now and gza isnt. i a huge wu fan but ill admit when their output is poor. i have heard every single gza album and most of them range from good to ok. pro tools was boring and just felt like legend of the liquid sword pt 2 but not even as good. and a 50 cent diss? lmao it just seemed like a bitter old man screaming at kids to get off the lawn. so anyone who wants to step as if i dont know shit about gza then go for it cause ill at least admit when a rapper has released boring material and hasnt done anything exciting in their career except for one album.

This is a flatout lie. I want to see you post the hottest ross verse, and then I'll post a random GZA verse from protools and we'll compare them. Its not even close. Ross can make hot songs but he's no lyricist.

man lets be fair, im not agree with u and and arent gonna agree with me, so whats the point.  ive listened to pro-tools, and im not saying its bad, im not saying the quality of the rhymes are bad, im saying its boring.  it might sound good but that type of rap has been done a milllion times over, gzas flow is the same damn 94 flow and same damn 94 lyrical content and id rather hear rick ross than that, sorry.

I can't believe that this turned into a "Rick Ross is better than GZA" discussion.. what is the world coming to?  :-X

Rick Ross is awesome. He isn't a lyrcial grandamster like a lot of the Wu, but rap isn't just about lyrics.

So if its not about his lyrics, what other things about him are awesome?

Khalil track 13?? (just judging by the Kobe feature lol)

My thought exactly. Would be DOPE to hear them collaborate.

What's with the Ross hate tho ? Music is just entertainment. Who cares if he's a fat liar ? Can't music be like a book, fictional ? Dude has an impeccable ear for beats and his raps aren't that bad. There's much worse out there... just my humble opinion.

He has the same flow on every track and his bars are trash. Plus he's a fake cunt...

Looking forward to this album, anyone know the production credits? Rza got many beats?

Raekwon Confims Nas Collabo, Talks Wu-Tang Vs Shaolin Producers

The Chef talks to XXLMag.com about reuniting with Nas, and who else fans can expect to hear on his new LP…

Over the weekend, an alleged tracklist for Raekwon’s Wu-Tang vs Shaolin album leaked promising a reunion between The Chef and Nas. XXLMag.com chopped it up with the Wu-Tang vet to find out if God’s Son was indeed able to make it onto his new LP.
According to Rae, the tracklist, although not listed in the right sequence, is in fact correct, and will feature a track with the Queensbridge MC. Nas wasn’t able to make it onto Lex Diamond’s last project, 2009’s critically acclaimed CD Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II due to a scheduling conflict, but he made sure to come out this go-round. “It definitely sounds like vintage Rae and Nas again,” the Staten Island rep told XXLMag.com.
“I [saw] Nas across seas, we had a show together, and we talked about a lot of things,” Rae explained about how the two linked up. ”We went from A-Z how we felt about things what was goin on at the time, and by the grace of God we was able to get this thing happenin’ again. That was definitely one of the surprise things that I wanted to alert the fans with, just to let em know that my brother came up to air for me and I know through his busy schedule I guess in the back of his mind he was like ‘Yo I gotta come up for Rae.’”
Along with Nas, Wu-Tang Vs Shaolin boasts cameos from Rick Ross, Lloyd Banks, Black Thought, Busta Rhymes and Jim Jones, as well as fellow Wu members Ghostface Killah and Method Man. On the production side, Rae enlisted the talents of DJ Khalil, Scram Jones, The Alchemist, Erick Sermon and longtime Wu beatsmith Allah Mathematics.
Wu-Tang Vs Shaolin hits stores on March 8.
