In something like 2007 they announced Detox was droppin in the September (I think).

HMV Stores in London actually had 'Detox' cards in the Dre section that said Pre-Order now

would be good. the album would have to be turned in during march sometime, prolly leak a week or two before the 20th. and i'd expect a load more promotion before that date, or maybe just another interscope fail marketing campaign. 4/20 is my birthday too

I think this is legit, and will not get pushed back. 4/20 is a day that will stand out in most people's minds anyway (for obvious reasons), so I would think Interscope wouldn't let this great marketing opportunity slip by.

@OG Will : yeah Bishop Lamont had posted a vid of him with Dre saying it was coming out in September 07 i remember. But as @Snoop just mentioned, this is the first time Dre has said a date himself. Plus, I need a doctor is set to drop on the 1st of February so this seems plausible.

Could be... after all time time, a release in the near future is realistic. Interscope doesn't have any major releases coming up until Gaga's new album dropping some point in may or june I think, so it would be possible that they don't want anything out before then to make way for Dre Day.
