LA times sounds a lot like a dre beat, anyone else think so too?

The Ocean is def album material. I think Dre/Game/Busta in 2010 (now 2011) came real correct with that one. I would take this over at least 1 or 2 of the Dre-produced Documentary tracks. Honestly, if you don't at least like this track a bit I can't take your opinion serious. If your not crazy about it then thats fine, but to say this is in any form "wack" is just fuckin dumb. So far, easily the best track of the year. At first I thought it was a bit of a disappointment, but after a bunch of spins and a day later this track is crazy.

Anyone know the singer on there? And was it confirmed not to be Dre? I would like to take that tracklist serious, but they fucked up other parts too (the Kurupt feature).

EDIT: I think the singer is Blaqtoven, as he has been involved in recent Aftermath shit, and it sounds like him.

E.P. is known for having those dre type beats. Game called him the new dre a while back. I actually think he puts out more quality beats than dre in the past 5 years. Not too hard to do i guess but LA Times is the best beat on the album.

Give or take 1 or 2 and that's almost album material (although only 2 or 3 tracks were Game album material IMO). I didn't include he RZA one because besides the beat it was trash, and I liked that Mysonne one, but it had nothing to do with Game. And on another note, i'm sure a lot of this, if not most was cut from R.E.D. and some (at least 3) were cut from L.A.X.

And another thing, I still don't get how some of yall dont like The Ocean. I mean, listening to it more, it's entirely dedicated to the West Coast and L.A. backed by a laid-back classic West Coast Dre beat. Even Dre is repping the West hard here. What else could you want from these two? I guess people want more played-out '03-'06 shit.

I am seriously disappointed in this after being hyped after seeing all of you raving about it. There are way too many fucking fillers on this. Half the tracks aren't even worth a second listen.

I can save 10-12 tracks and to me that's a pretty decent album, I've never ever listened to a Mixtape twice in my life, I hate them, this has something different.
