I'm surprised so many people have Big L on their list...I mean, he was dope, but Lifestyles of da Poor and Dangerous wasn't groundbreaking or anything.  No offense to you guys, but this dude got much more revered after he died.

anyway, is this top 10 favourites, or top 10 eve

Top 10 ever...(no order)

P.E- It takes a Nation of Millions
Nas- Illmatic
Biggie- Ready to Die
Eric B- Follow the Leader
Run-DMC -Raising Hell
ATCQ- Low End Theory
Pete Rock and Cl Smooth- The Main Ingredient
Mobb Deep- Infamous
Slick Rick- Adventures of
Wu-tang- 36 chambers
