Curren$y Signs to Warner Bros,Plans Tour,Mixtape With the Alchemist,2new albums

Last year, the slippery New Orleans weed-rapper Curren$y released a pair of beautifully laidback, psych-inspired albums, Pilot Talk and Pilot Talk II. This year, he's already released a mixtape, Return to the Winners Circle. And from the look of things, he'll be just as busy in the months ahead. He's inked a deal with Asylum/Warner Bros., and he's gearing up to release a mixtape and two new albums.

First up is the mixtape Covert Coup, produced entirely by veteran beatmaker the Alchemist, and due on itunes on April 19, one day before 4/20, which is a special day for guys like Curren$y. He's also working on two more albums, Muscle Car Chronicles and Pilot Talk III.

On 4/20, Curren$y will head out on a huge North American tour. He's announced dates and cities for all the tours, but he hasn't named the venues yet. Below, check out those dates and watch the video for Curren$y's great "Hard in Da Paint" freestyle "Twistin Stank".
