I LOVED The Cool. More than F&L I think. I gotta' go back and bump both again.

Anyways, haven't got around to this yet. Been too busy bumpin' the new Raekwon & WC albums, such fire

Album is hugely disappointing. Some of the production is terrible.

It's not that bad of an album, it's just his worst. It's average, but far from "awful".

I think Lupe is getting the 50 Cent treatment on this one.

As for Lupe "hating" the album, he says "the music is dope, but I don't like the process". Basically blaming the label for one song that is going to get him all his sales anyway.

T.I. is different though. He has way more power over there than Lupe lol. That never would have happened if T.I. was a free man. They put some crappy songs on the album and they really dropped the ball by not making Castle Walls a single    mark my words that would have gone #1 on Billboard.

But the T.I. album still went Gold and will probably flip over to Platinum eventually

I'm tight the last song on the album with John Legend leaked months & months ago. That shit just sounds old to me now.

People want to blame Atlantic and I'm sure there's a bunch of bullshit involved with them but Lupe Fiasco was changing and you could hear it in the first two singles which didn't make the cut and that annoying ass alt-rock project.

LASERS was always going to have an electronic, and as I feared rock, feel to it, probably more strings than the one we got based on I'm Beaming & All Black Everything.   The one we got suffered from guest features, annoying pop choruses, and average production.


Most of it is decent, some of it is really bad.
