Question about Natural Born Killaz...
« on: March 03, 2011, 02:08:54 PM »
You know the bit that goes, "Mass murderer, natural born killer, and I don't want to die, I don't want to diiiie"...

Who is saying that? In the video it's got Dre saying it, but the voice doesn't sound like Dre's at all to me, especially the way it's saying "born killer"... and it sounds nothing like Ice Cube

Anyone know? Sounds more like RBX or Ricky Harris or Big Pimpin Delemond, if I had to guess, but I don't remember anyone else credited on the track that sounds like that

Word, that sucks then if he wasn't credited, because that's such a dope part...

I'd have loved to hear an RBX verse on the track as well, his voice is perfect for vibe

And who does the talking after Dre's first verse on the OG Version? Doesn't sound RBX to me.

You're all wrong, it's Big Pimpin' saying that. RBX was had already left Death Row by the time Natural Born Killaz was recorded.

Don't sound like Big Pimpin' at all. I thought that RBX left in 1995.

No problem. If not late 1993, then he left in early 1994 because Murder Was The Case came out on October 18th, 1994 and he wasn't even on it. That was one of Death Row's main artists, so if he was still on the label during the recording process then he would have made an appearance on there.

You see this is why I was asking because it's pretty obvious it's not Dre, but I'm not 100% convinced it's RBX either... although, even though he left 93-94, he could have been around in the studio when the track was first made though, so I wouldn't rule him out entirely...

But RBX normally has more of a lisp and tends to say things in a certain way, and this isn't really how he normally says things...

While if you listen to the "I don't want to die" bit when he first says it (not shouting it) the accent the person has saying "die" is a lot like Big Pimpin's accent...

Also, Big Pimpin Delemond was on 'What Would U Do,' for Murder Was The Case, so if he was being used more around that time and at the recording sessions for that album, it makes more sense that it'd be him rather than RBX
