B.G. Knocc Out & Dresta - Real Brothas

Actually one of my favourite G-Funk records out there. Both of em got a sick flow and their lyrics are on point.
Never got the props it truly deserved.

Agree, its definetly a solid album!

agree with this

also Daz This Life I Lead 8)

Brotha Lynch - Loaded
Always felt that this cd was over looked because of Season of Tha Siccness and X-Raided's cd's.  Dark eerie beats suits Lynch perfectly.  Man I wish he'd get this style back.

Mr. Doctor - Setrippn' Bloccstyle
He was overshadowed by the bigger names on Black Market.

RBL Posse - Ruthless By Law
This group as a whole doesn't get the recognition I felt they deserved.  Dope cd.

K. Dot - C4
Even though it's a mixtape, I still consider it album material.  A lot of people hated it because he used Wayne's beats but he ripped them.

Some other "non gangster rap" cd`s i realy enjoy from the westcoast.

Aloe Black - Shine Trough
Oh No - Exodus Into Unheard Rhythms
Murs - Murs For President
Dudley Perkins - A Lil Light
Blackalicious - The Craft
Dilated Peoples - Expansion Team

And all People Under The Stairs albums.

All these album are so slept on and especially Dudley Perkins Aka Declaime dont get enought love on the westcoast. He`s style is so uniqe and diverse.

I never even heard of more than half the albums the man aboves me recomend, but if they are as good as you say, i will check them out 8)
Under the society, still only god`s above me

R.I.P Nate Dogg.
You will forever be missed, but never forgotten.

Time to educate you euros. Don't say I didn't try

Zion I and The Grouch - Heroes in the City of Dope (just came out, a fresh sound for the west coast)

didn't this come out in 06 or so?

btw, what's with all this euro talk?

if you wanna go that route, include all the Blackalicious and Jurassic 5 albums, full of classic material.
The Mighty Underdogs Ep is pretty overlooked as well, i'd say (their album, too, but I didn't get around to that yet so I don't wanna praise anything I haven't heard)

Everyone's lists are typical. All LA/DPG affiliated albums. Albums by Cali artists don't deserve the title underrated.

Diezel P - Write Now
Dope ass artist, has a few more releases under his belt. He also does charity shows here and there.
I personally love this album since it's the first I heard from him, lol.
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/9lRwA9qVNcM" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/9lRwA9qVNcM</a>

Macklemore - The Langauge Of My World
Released after he changed his name from Professor Macklemore, dude spits fire on this album. His Unplanned Mixtape was dope too.
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/pPIqDBM0zd8" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/pPIqDBM0zd8</a>

D. Black - Ali'Yah
Dude's music is realistic and also idealistic at the same time.
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/uvvX_ruZjT4" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/uvvX_ruZjT4</a>

Grynch - Chemisty EP
I'm still surprised that Billboard gave him a few secs in the spotlight a while back, but if they hadn't I never would've known about this cat.
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/tKOVF1qwPzI" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/tKOVF1qwPzI</a>

Okwerdz - Off Season
Okay, this is a mixtape but a dope mixtape at that (the tags on it ruin it though).

Blame One - Days Chasing Days
If you liked Below The Heavens you'll like this as well, since it's technically Blame One and Exile.
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/qXBoRuUspjk" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/qXBoRuUspjk</a>

Dyme Def - Space Music
Just three bad bros, simple.
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/Zj1hVwvqUHs" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/Zj1hVwvqUHs</a>

Zion I - Break A Dawn
The first time I heard this group. Another time it payed to live in Japan.
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/2T3p0TWELlw" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/2T3p0TWELlw</a>

Sirens Echo - Psalms of the Sirens
Not even Rage and Da 5 Footaz hold a candle to this duo.
<a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/RhzfKHsAGj8" target="_blank" class="new_win">http://www.youtube.com/v/RhzfKHsAGj8</a>

Abyssinian Creole - Sexy Beast
