Come listen to my truest thoughts, my truest feelings
All my peers doing years beyond drug dealing
How many caskets can we witness
Before we see it's hard to live This life without God, so we must ask forgiveness
Ask mama why I got this urge to die
Witness the tears falling free from her eyes, Before she could reply
Though we were born without a silver spoon
My broken down TV, show cartoons in my living room
One day I hope to make it A player in this game,
Mama don't cry, long as we try Maybe things change,
Perhaps it's just a fantasy
A life where we don't need no welfare
we share with our whole family
Maybe it's me that caused it, The fighting and the hurting
In my room crying cause I didn't want to be a burden
Watch mama open up her arms to hug me
And I ain't worried bout a damn thang, she still love me

yea he got a point, toot it and boot it was WAAAAAY more lyrical...

Tupac was definitely lyrical but you gotta look at it from that era of music when Hip Hop was still considered a fad and was still growing. But not just Hip Hop that goes for any form of art or sport whether it's Rap Battles, Breakdancing, Basketball, Flair Bartending whatever, shit that was impressive 18 years ago might not work in this day & age But if you compare 2Pacalypse to any Hip Hop album that was out in 1991 it stacks up there with the best of them but the unique trait that Pac brang to the table was emoting his rhymes, he pour his heart into the lyrics and conveyed his feelings better then anybody. Sure anybody can just rhyme a bunch of random nonsensical shit but to have structure and meaning in a song, to concoct stories & allegories takes a lot of skill rather then just a bunch of mindless rhymes. You want to talk about someone who isn't lyrical, look at Spider Loc who just spit a bunch of nursery rhyme bullshit u cant compare Pac to something like that
