West Coast Legends Snoop Dogg, Meech Wells, Back In The Studio, Creating “Take You Home”, For Snoop’s 11th Album, Doggumentary

Westcoast rap icon Snoop Dogg, teams up with Too Short, Kokane, and Daz Dillinger along with multi-platinum producer Meech Wells and his co-producers Soul Mechanix, for “Take You Home.” Taken from the rappers 11th studio album, ‘Doggumentary,’ which landed in stores this week, his first album release since 2009′s ‘Malice n Wonderland’.

The Meech Wells/Soul Mechanix produced up-tempo track brings sticky bass notes, crispy synthesizers, and a bangin drum kit. Meech proclaims, “Were bringing back that classic westcoast funk that Snoop sounds so incredible over.”

The video, directed by Terrance Ball, is a Japanese Anime with a vintage 90’s feel. It’s filled with booty shaking cartoon vixens, OG pimp attire, and features Snoop rolling up to the club in girl packed Cadillac. The video received over 7 million views in just three days and has been receiving favourable reviews from Snoop’s die hard fans.

Meech Wells and partners Soul Mechanix plan to put out a Behind the Beat video soon showing how they produced the track along with footage of the artists recording in the studio.

Look out for more productions from the Los Angeles based team in the near future.

Aint checked the vid yet but i am an anime fan.
Anyways, Snoop and Meech could do almost a whole album together IMO. With a beat or two from say Soopafly/dj Quik/Fred wreck/battle cat. Wont happen of course. i may as well add warren-G and daz too that list....
Every now and then a rapper prooves a album can be cool with one producer. Yukmouth did it on his "tonight show' album.
