If you're American, your choices of poker rooms to play at are pretty slim nowadays. The government is being a real pain in the ass.

It's worth it for good players because there is a lot of money to be made, and it's worth it if you just want to have fun. It depends what your goal is and what you are looking for.

ive tried a few but one got shut down one got rid of hold em all together. and the pay out is wack. you have to register for some debit card and wait for 6-10 days to get payed its complicated.

My friend was up like $700 on a site (forgot the name) & the government came in & shut it down. They took the $700 he was up & the initial $250 he deposited in the account.

So it's not worth it considering at any second the government can bust it up & take EVERYTHING from you.

Just find a bunch of people you know to play it in person (better anyway). $50-$100 games.

to each his own. but maaaaan, this mf had me so heated at the poker table today. ive never cursed at a table or at a person at the table. but today...lets just say ther is a first time for everything. sometimes. woo, i was heated. two dumb ass mfs at the table just annoyed the hell outa me. at the casino. not online. but, if u dont want to play for money online, play for fun. brush on up ur skills.

I play at Bodog occasionally. I took $10 and it grew to $50, haven't been around since then because I was concerned they'd bust it up, but they haven''t at least yet.
