I think this whole 2Pac vs. The Beatles argument digresses from the thread starters original point. This topic started talking about Death Row, not 2Pac.
Never-the-less, let's compare The Beatles to 2Pac:

Beatles: One of the best artists to come out of England
2Pac: One of the best artists to come out of the USA

Beatles: Influenced the world with their music
2Pac: Influenced the world with his music

Beatles: Broke sales records
2Pac: Broke sales records

Beatles: People talk about them even though they are no longer active and 2 members are dead
2Pac: People talk about him even though he is no longer active and is dead

Bealtes: Signed to Parlophone, a record label that is now defunct and irrelevant.
2Pac: Signed to Death Row, a record label that is now defunct yet everyone still talks about.

Who the fuck is still talking about Parophone and what possibly happened in the past? It's over and people just accept the music that was made. So why do people still talk about every note, brick and dollar that was involved in Death Row? Enjoy the music and move on.

Brian the I used QB as an example because you said yourself "The Chronic is an accurate description of the black man in America". As a matter of fact I think you may of even said it yourself on this very board.  As for calling you a failure, where am I wrong ?  How many occupations have you tried and failed at ?  I know you have told me several of them the two most notable were truck driver and nurse.  But you have always cried the blues about it or at least last time we spoke you did.  About you being a deadbeat, a few weeks after you told me your ex father in law said you were basically a deadbeat and in your own words you said you were having finacial problems you came here talking about you're going on a trip to Africa.  C'mon son cut the bullshit, you yourself said your having finacial troubles and trouble supporting your son but you got the money for a month long trip to Africa.  That's some deadbeat Dad bullshit no matter how you try and twist it.  About your Dad still paying for your ass.  You said it yourself he gave you a loan to help pay for it.  He also bailed your ass out when you failed as a trucker.  Which is kinda funny because you used to come on here talking about how truckers are red neck morons yet you failed as a trucker.  But as of the last time we spoke on aim which I do admit was a while ago, you yourself said you Dad was still pauing your car insurance and phone bill.  And about you hating your dad, you never actually said but when you were going through your entire I'm better than you because I'm muslim phase you said your Dad was trying to reach out to you, trying to get a better understanding of you and islam.  But you said you weren't having that.  You used to bitch all the time about how your Dad thought throwing money at you would fix the problem.  You would bitch about how your Dad liked to drink a little too much instead of dealing with family issues.  Yea you never said you hate your Dad but it was strongly implied.  Brian, these were your words, not mine words or anyone elses.

And Brian, for the records I've told you why I exposed you like this and it had nothing to do with me trying to tear people down to my level, or your friendship with NIK, or our differing beliefs.  It was beacus of your holier than thou attitude.  That with all your issues and troubles you still came here talking about how your a better person because you only listened to a certain type of music, or you didn't watch porn, or because you're an islamic libertarian.  That's why I do what I do to you Brian.  To be honest I never had any intention of exposing you like this.  As a matter of fact when you had your son I thought you had actually changed and grown up.  It seemed like you had finally startted to respect others for their different views, opinions, and moral codes.  Remember when I told you "that's a beautiful thing" when you spoke of your son and how much he made you change the way you viewed things ?  But you still came on here with your holier than thou attitude even though your just as big a piece a shit as the rest of us.  But I know you're goin' spin this some how Brian or only read and hear what you want because your that hypocritical and your that self absorbed.

Man, you really love to twist shit from 4 year old AIM conversations.  Which by the way I was taking you as a friend in those convo's so this is the ultimate bitch move to take my words from 4 year old AIM convo's when we were cool with each other.  Shows what a piece of shit you are.   I wouldn't even think about doing shit like that.

-Wow, that was so funny you said my dad was paying my cell phone and car insurance bills in 2007!!! LMAO!!!  Now that part wasn't even twisting truth that is just straight fucking made up shit.  I've been paying car insurance for myself since atleast 2003, with no changes to that, and cell phone bills since atleast 2003 or well before.  Also the part about my son making me change my life and the way I viewed the world, sounds nice in theory, but I think you projected that onto me, cause I don't recall experiencing that or reporting that to you.  Maybe you said something in AIM convo like, "Yo that's dope you got a son, makes you see the world different", and maybe I elaborated just feeding off of your vibe, but that would of had to of come from you.  Nothing against my son, but the path I'm on hasn't been significantly altered by him.  And if that sounds bad to you being an arm-chair father that you are, then so be it.  I'm keepin it real.

-Again, I've explained many times before.  But let me explain my financial situation for the record, and everything I say here is consistent with all our AIM convo's.  Try and deny that this isn't...

...Basically, I ain't shy about mentioning where my parents had money and where my parents helped me.  Especially not today, I may of been way naive when I was younger not wanting my parents money, but now I know just how difficult it is out there, and you have to take every advantage you can get.  That is part of what life is about is going with what works and exploiting opportunities.  So I'm not shy to say I grew up upper middle class and in a white suburban neighborhood.   I also had a hell of a lot of money from my family to go to college with after highschool or spend else where as long as I made a half-ass case to them for why I needed the money.  But I was extremely naive when I was 18 years old, and I honestly didn't want any of my parents money and I actually tried to get emancipated legally from my parents and so on.  I moved out on my own, and in my mind I was living on my own, but i admit that in reality I was steady getting money to get me out of jams all along.  This really lasted almost all the way up until 2006 all that college/post highschool money ran out completely.

-So my family money may have helped me go to California back in 2002, but it was actually some Muslims in Cali that helped me go to Hajj, and loaned me that money financially.  But my trip in 03' to Oman and the Emirates was certainly helped by that family money.

-Then by the end of 2006 I had ran out of my family money after one final trip to the Arab Gulf.  This was the same trip that I had the mental, emotional, spiritual breakdown on and so forth.  When I came back to America all the family money had ran out, and even my parents were retired and had lost their whole savings in Lucent stock, and were just living on pensions and social security.

-So anything 2007 and on is my own money, and my own sweat.   When I went to Africa the first time I had no credit card.  So I got in a jam and started calling people in America and 3 people loaned me money to get me by that first trip to Africa.  One of them was my mom, only like 500 dollars.  When I returned back to America I immediately entered trucking school and was sponsored by a trucking company.  Then halfway through the school they found out about some traffic tickets and dropped me.  So my father paid for the rest of the class with a credit card and I paid him back throughout the year.

-My trips to Africa in 08 and 10'/11 by that time I had a credit card so there has been no need to try and borrow money from anybody, I just use a credit card when I'm in a jam and pay it back later.

-Bottom line, in situations where I've gotten money from my parents I will admit it, because I don't see any reason to be ashamed of it.  But I just don't like having the shit that I did work hard for get discredited.  So that's why I had to right a long as post clarifying which things I feel I earned on my own.   I earned those 3 Africa trips on my own and nobody can take that away from me.   Nobody can take 07 thru 11 away from me and say I didn't earn whatever I got then on my own.

...Tom, let's tell the truth.  Is anything I said above a lie?

Yes a number of things you lied about.  I won't say you lied about the money for your trips,  maybe you're telling the truth maybe you're not but for arguments sake I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.  But I'll point out a number of things you lied about.  Those convo's weren't in 2007, they were in 2009 a couple of months before jewdgement day.  We're not even talking two years yet.  Your changes, I didn't project them on you.  Those were your own words.  I fed off of your changes speech and then maybe you fed off my "thats beautiful comment".  But that started first with your  And it had nothing to do about your lifes journey, it had to do just with how you viewed the world and others.  And truth be told, you actually did seem like a better person.  And it had nothing to do with your trips or your personal beliefs.  It seemed like you had finally grown up and accepted responsibility for your life and accepting of other people.  Brian this wasn't something I imagined.  It was your own words and actions you actually displayed for a very short time.  But you showed your true colors, the self righteous holier than thou douche that you are.  The funny thing is, when you started doing it again I warned you in a thread to cut it out or I was going to expose you.  The thing is Brian, you're so self absorbed that you only read and hear what you want to.

But some other thing things you were lying about.  Your failure in trucking school, you told me it was because while you were in New Jersey, not 100% it was New Jersey but I think that's where it was.  You told me you dropped the course or the trucking company that dropped you because you took your truck under a low underpass and fucked up your companies trailor.  And you said that was the reason you dropped the trucker job.  I remember you crying about how the guy on the road with you wasn't nice and wasn't holding your hand like everyone else has.  Now it was tickets after a background check.  Your new excuse sounds pretty suspect Brian.  I've been working in the import business for the past 5 years so I deal with truckers all day everyday.  Maybe your company didn't do a background check right away but most companies I know araen't hiring someone to drive their trucks around before they do a background check.  About your bills maybe it wasn't 2009 when we spoke about your parents helping you out but if was definitely later than 2003 because I remember asking you how you survive without having steady work and you said your parents help you out and I remember you specifically mentioning car insurance.

So their you go Brian, a number of lies you have said.

I feel embarrassed for a lot of posters here.

anybody else notice the insurgence of deliberate drama-baiting that's been going on lately?  people have been living their lives on this forum and it's always everybody elses fault that people still wanna talk about The Ruthless Family Tree.  this thread and that "let's be real about 2Pac" thread is clearly baiting material.  in other words, this nigga's just lookin' 2 start some shit

Truckers are big & rocking flannel with glorious red beards.

Brian is some scrawny lookin' kid. The thought of him behind a truck is hilarious.

Yo Tom, it's not lying when you tell a story and some shithead with an agenda like yourself mixes up your story.

The trucking story is simple.  I was sponsored by a trucking company who would pay for my school if I promised to work for them.  Then halfway through my school they dropped me cause they found out about some tickets.  So my dad loaned me the money to finish.  I finished the school, then I started working with a company named Werner, and in my second month driving for the company I was in my last few days of being paired up with another driver before I could be on my own.  my trainer told me to follow the GPS and the GPS took me right into a low bridge at 3am in New Ark New Jersey.  Major wreck and I was fired, and I said fuck it and went back to pushing pills at nursing homes.
