Why doesn't quik just give dre the old tomatoe: give me credit or ill expose it. Simple as that.

Expose what?  That he did uncredited drum claps?  It's far less of a scandal than you think. If anybody but DJ Quik said they added a sound to a Dre record, nobody on this fucking board would give two shits.

Dude he said "50 don't even know how much I did for his album". That sounds like more than a drum clap. Like I said, he needs to just blurt out what he did or stop speaking on it. Fans don't want hints we want the full story.

What does me being, or not being there have to do with knowing that DJ Quik had a hand in more than 3 tracks on that album? I don't need to be in Afghanistan to know there's a war going on.
DJ Quik done a lot more on it, as well as for Busta Ryhmes, and Truth Hurts that he is not credited for. He's not the only one. Mark Batson and others are not credited for big helping hands on some tracks either, but it doesn't mean they don't get paid

U sure about Mark Batson? because on the stuff Dre has done with Jay Z, Snoop, Raekwon, 50 cent, Game, Eminem and Young Buck, Mark Batson has been credited as co producer and instrumentalist for all of them songs. Out of all of dre's "newish" staff, Batson has recieved the most credit since his work on "Documentary"

bad example, dj quik working on in da club was something hardly anybody knew.

im just pointing out that you're speculating, you don't know how many songs Quik has worked on.

Heat & If I Can't, but the 2 most notable ones are Back Down and N Da Club.. Those 4 are definite 100%

The other 2 are Eminem produced, and is rumoured that the sounds in the Triton Rack at the time that Eminem used in Don't push me and the other song he done on that album contained stored sounds on there that belonged to DJ Quik, or were stored by, and because the equipment would have been used by other people coming in wanting certain snares, kicks, drums etc, they "may" have used some of his sounds, which consequently results in him saying 50 Cent doesn't know how much he done for his album, and leaves us speculating which of his sounds were actually used by other producers coming in

Personally, I couldn't care. Without Quik bringing in musicians with him who played a distinguishable guitar layer, or something un-loopable then I'm not going to loose sleep over it

Well, no, but seeing as Afghanstan is a major war in a country that involves documentation and consistent news, it's sort of a poor analogy.

Poor analogy yes, but still comparative with the idea of receiving news from a source of some sort.

I haven't devalued Dr Dre's skills as a producer or said anything negative about the Aftermath 'empire', so I can't see why devoted fan boys would get mad
