According to Clint he set up the deal with someone who isn't even COB, so he can blame himself for getting ripped off.

Yes, Young Trav knows Crooked and did a song with him before, but why would you go through a third party to buy a verse from an artist? Clint should have contacted COB directly, there are more than enough available options to contact Crooked I's team. I wouldn't be surprised if Crooked I has no idea who Clint Dogg is.

I've bought a few Crooked I singles on iTunes before because I wanted to support the man for all the dope music he's put out for free, but as long as he's not putting out all of his mixtapes in untagged form (the way they were before attention whoring mixtape DJ's got their hands on them) I'm not supporting this or any other Crooked I release anymore.
