Watch this two part interview conducted with the late J. Dilla’s mother Maureen “Ma Dukes” Yancey about the forthcoming The Rebirth Of Detroit project. It’s project for Detroit, by Detroit artists that were close to the late producer/emcee. The project is headed by Jonathan Taylor (also appearing in the interview), who is an avid Detroiter and musician that is dedicated to the advancement of positivity within our city.
