This could be the last great mainstream album. The production is on another planet. OMG. :o

Solid production , like the attention to details in that department ... Illest mofo alive has the best production ( need a better quality though) ... hooks are a huge letdown  ... a 3/5 album for me ... it's more an album for mainstream music fans in general than straight hip hop fans

I still don't know what my favorite song is. Leaning towards "Niggas In Paris", but they're all so spectacular.

listening right now

For some reason, I have these in 128 rip (the rest of the album was 256) so some of these may sound better later when better quality leaks.
I have tha m4a version and all songs are 256

I'm far from being blown away, considering the potential and resources this project had. I just dont click with some of the beats on here. Reminds me a lot of MBDTF. "Murder To Excellence" is amazing though.

yep ... this ain't even closed to College Dropout or The Black Album ... seems like people have lowered their standards a lot and compare each album to the current music quality ... which of course will result in a higher rating

MBDTF is better , even if I wasn't a fan of this album either

I'm not gonna listen to it until a proper grouprip comes out, but you guys didn't get me overly excited with your reviews and comments. At least... now it doesn't sound like I have to buy this album.

I don't think it's fair to compare this to MBDTF. That was a solo Kanye album, this is a duo. That album was very personal to Kanye after the Tay Swift incident and everything else he's been through. Plus he basically produced MBDTF himself, he had SO much more help and different producers on here.

Apples & Oranges IMO.

On a 2nd listen, some tracks already sounded better and they were already amazing to begin with.

This album is fucking phenomenal. There's only 3 songs I'm not crazy about right now (Ham, Lift Off & Primetime)
