This album would be a lot better if Jay-Z wasn't involved.

I agree. Kanye is on another level right now. Jay can still make some dope singles but I don't know about an album's worth.

That's why it's not an album's worth. Just a verse or two a song's worth.

I think Jay-Z will come correct on the album. Doing an album with Kanye on his game will light a fire under his ass.

The production on MBDTF is literally flawless. The music is on another level. If u can't see that, you're crazy. It's especially evident on tracks like Runaway, Devil in a New Dress, etc. The beat switches are out of this world
The problem with something like MBDTF is it's too new for most people to truly appreciate. People just want to throw out older stuff as superior and condemn the newer stuff most times. Much as his personality can be grating to me at times, his production skills are incredible.

Am I the only one who thinks "Graduation" is his best?

"Drunken Hot Girls" was the worst song & that's such a chill vibe song.

However, that's not an insult to any of his other work. I think he can arguably be considered the best artist of the last decade.

College Dropout, Late Registration (the most underrated album. He condenses the tracklist, it could be his best), Graduation, My Dark Twisted Fantasy. Who else put out four incredible albums? Each being interchangeable as "the best", depending on who you ask. & no matter what order you have it, the best & the worst are barely better than one another.

lets not forget 808   but I agree he is a great artist and never disappoints. I can't stop listening to his last album. Can't wait for Watch the throne.

To the public, that was his only blemish. But I actually enjoyed that album. He had some dope cuts on there.

But I don't talk about that when I talk about his Hip Hop. Even he said it wasn't intended in any shape or form to be a Hip Hop album.

Kanye could go down as having the best discography in hip hop. 808s was a one off album in another genre. At this point he's four for four

Yup he's extremely consistent and released new shit on the regular, add his work with jay z, common, John legend etc and you've got some amazing tracks. I think the tracks he did with nas were the best on hip hip is dead.
