I appreciate you taking the time to review the album, but how many times can you possibly use the word classic? Not buyin it (the overuse of the word classic, not the album)

I agree. Way too soon to be calling this album a classic. Everyone is open to their own opinion though, not hating.

i grew up istening to classic westcoast & east coast albums, nwa, ice cube, eazy, d.o.c., rakim, dr.dre, snoop, dogg pound, pac & a few more, this album is a near classic in the same level as game's documentary debut or even doc advocate, what keeps this album from being a classic is that he says the same shyt that everyone i mentioned already has said. dont get me wrong this is a great album just what the west needed....maybe after a few more listens i could change my mind but its a near classic yes  :)

But "the documentary" is 6 years old. The fact that we can still listen to it makes it a modern classic (nowhere near the level of a doggystyle or 7 day theory btw). But opinion or not I don't think any album should be called a classic in its release week. Give it time. There was a time when I thought "da khop shop" was a dope album...I haven't played that shit in years, so no bueno on the classic stamp there. If were still playing this album in a few years then call it a classic, but for now the best it can be is album of the year.

nice album. which songs didnt made it to the final version beside Lift Me Up?

*Follow Me Home (Feat. The Game)
*Finest Hour (Feat. Rick Ross)
*Ask About Me (Feat. Lloyd)

I'm not exactly sure if these were meant for FMH but most didn't end up on any mixtapes so...
There is also appearently a song Jay Rock did with Ne-Yo, but that was before Jay Rock left Warner Bros...

Finest Hour is on here bro.

It's good to see Kendrick helping with a lot of the hooks on the album, it's not Jay Rocks strong point but getting someone directly from his camp to help is dope

Finest Hour (Feat. Rick Ross) is on there. he mentioned on twitter a few months back that he was having trouble getting some of the samples cleared. that follow me home track with game could have been one of those tracks along with lift me up. i can do without both does tracks being on there because them shits burnt the fuck out and dirt old, its not like those tracks would make or break the album... oh yea E 40 was supposed to be on the album also.

That track with Chris Brown was dope (though I think I've heard the beat before), definitely copping (if I see it in stores that is)...

Kinda disappointed that Nipsey ain't on this though.
