Jay Rock?s debut with Strange Music, Follow Me Home, sold 5,300 copies, resulting in the No. 83 spot. Black Rob?s Game Tested Streets Approved, the last new hip-hop release of the week, did not manage to crack the Top 200, selling 1,700 records.Bad Meets Evil, the Eminem and Royce Da 5?9?? collaboration, climbed up a spot on the charts to No. 10 with their EP Hell: The Sequel, selling 26,000 in its seventh week, making the total units sold 396,000.DJ Khaled, whose fifth album, We The Best Forever, held the fifth spot in its debut last week, fell to No. 14, selling 20,600 copies this time around, pushing his total to 73,700.Further down on the charts is G.O.O.D. Music signee Big Sean, who fell three spots this week to No. 30, trailed closely by Pitbull at No. 32. Sean?s Finally FamousLP sold 13,200 in its fifth week out, totaling 160,000 units sold. Pit?s dance infused Planet Pitalbum sold 12,500 copies this week. Shit aint to bad, but with single on tv and the good promo, expected more...Hope he stays with Strange Music, hes a good fit there and they release music, wish they sign Eastwood and Y.A and these other dope west acts that need a cd.

The fact that the numbers were expected doesnt make them less terrible. No artist should be pleased with those numbers.

I agree to an extent but every artist has to start somewhere, gotta have that core fan base as a platform... not saying that Jay Rock will blow up like Wiz Khalifa did, but Wiz' indie album only did like 5K first week and then a year later he drops his major debut and goes Gold with Platinum singles

plus Strange Music is in it for the long run, they will push the album to sell at least 20-25K
