Sometimes theres a BIG Act, or International DJ in the place, then they go to see that particular DJ in question.

No shit? It's your job, of course you're getting paid. Clubs need someone to play the music. Just like they need bartenders to serve the drinks. Hey, the bartenders could be making more than you for all we know, from all those tips.

You're under the mistaken impression that your job is something special when its not. My brother used to dj. One of my friends currently djs at various clubs. I'm sure its a decent gig for you, but it doesn't make you a big shot by any means. We go to clubs to have fun, not to watch a dj putting records on.

Tell me what "bar tender" makes $500 a night?. On Fri and Sat. U do the math.

And its not just putting records on, its mixing and blending them, kutting and scratching too, thats what a real DJ gets paid for.

They can pull in good money, especially in legit clubs (not Bowling Alleys with funny games). Bartenders at Vegas clubs can make easily over $120,000 per year.
