There are a few artists that still incorporate G-Funk in their sound but like others have said, music has evolved and that type of music is not pick of the litter anymore.

XL Middleton puts out a lot of G-Funk. There are artists out there that specialise in that area, however for sales-wise, the mainstream doesn't hear it

who says GFunk wouldn't sell if u put it out today?  smh, u only hear that shit on dubcc from abuncha Europeans.  all u need is the right beat, the right people/person on tha song, tha right lyrics and hook, and u got it.  Wale's "That Way" could be considered GFunk to some becuz it's a straight-cut sample from Curtis Mayfield.  Tha only thing that song didn't have way the whistle but not all GFunk songs do.
