i think the chronic is more revolutionary than efil4zaggin productionwise but i love the production though.

The Bomb Squad & Prince Paul's production (two totally different styles) around the same era were a lot more REVOLUTIONARY. Whether you prefer Efil4zaggin, De La Soul Is Dead or It Takes A Nation... more is entirely a matter of taste though. I love them all.

I just like how they talked about beating women and killing hoes that cheat on them and how they tie up women and pistol whip them, i mean, really crazy stuff.  Much more than just the pimp shit slapping hoes, they were downright violent to hoes.  I was listening to this just the other day and i was amazed at how far they went with some of the lyrics.  That kind of stuff would never fly today.  That was why i feel it was so revolutionary right there.  I don't know how they got away with it back in 91.

doc's album was full of that production i described. but it had some mellow shit too. niggaz4life took it to another level.

Dre's sonic jump in production from Straight Outta Compton/100 Miles And Running to Niggaz4life was light years ahead.

The blueprint for The Chronic.
