Yeah, "Illmatic" is in my top 5 all-time favorite albums, and it still makes it's way into my listening rotation several times a year.  Objectively speaking, it is better than God's Son. 

Yes, Dogg Food still bumps, can't be fucked with.  I have no problem with anyone arguing that it's the best either.

just bumped "It Was Written" today and Nas was completely rhyming his ass off on that...and "Nas Is Coming" is not wack for the haters

I mostly only listen to 90s east coast music or artists that come from that era. Last album I probably checked was by Nas or Jay-Z but nothing that really stayed in rotation.
