I never heard anything about that.  According to Soopafly, in his song "Talccin Bout Riccy", he had Kurupt cornered in a room in Pensecola Florida and was inches away from destroying kurupt when kurupt started crying and begging and basically trying to buy time so someone could save him.  Eventually Daz showed up and diffused the situation.
