The Scorpions are named after an astrological sign.  That follows the Chthonion logic.  Aligned with the planet Pluto, manifestation of comets.  That of unseen nature and subconscious.  Libra's about appearances but they are the opposite. Aligned with Pluto, forces on subterranean and porous.  The bands energy is deep and metaphoric.
